With such a moniker these Italians could only follow a certain direction with their music and this is no other than music that is based and inspired by the feelings of depression and seclusion.

“Fade Away Gradually, My Hope…”, the band’s debut full length work, offers us in a clear and eloquent way the emotions that prevail in this release and I’m talking about the feelings of hopelessness, isolation and personal suffering. This is exactly what MISERE NOBIS are trying to do… they use music as a cleansing process, as a means to express their darkest and deepest thoughts. And what’s the best metal genre to convey such thoughts and feelings? Well obviously and definitely depressive black metal. MISERE NOBIS’s music is bleak and utterly melancholic and devastating. Their songs are dark and epic with an eerie atmosphere and reek of torment and the inevitable decay. As you can see I can only describe this album with feelings and thoughts, because this is exactly the effect it had on me. If you like depressive, monolithic black metal, then MISERE NOBIS are here to offer you what you need!
